Dr. Blue was AMAZING! Couldn't be happier with my new vision.
I saw Dr Blue for an intake in Gainesville on Wednesday and had monovision LASIK two days later. It is the day after my surgery and I have absolutely no pain! I can already see without my readers and am told my vision will continue to improve throughout the healing process. Dr Blue and his staff are extremely nice and attentive, especially during the procedure when my nerves really kicked in. Dr Blue took the time to personally call me the evening of my surgery to make sure everything was going well. If you are considering LASIK....do it! AND choose Dr Blue at Blue Laser Group! I’m so glad I didn’t chicken out!
Dr. Blue is a brilliant doctor. My mother went to him yesterday to have her eyes checked for a problem she had with pressure build up in one eye. She was in the office for a total of 3.5 hrs. This is fine with me because I am happy that Dr. Blue has time to see her at all. Being a leader in his field he has many patience as you would expect from an expert. He has been our family doctor for many years and he has never sent us home feeling uncared for or not properly treated. So what if you have to wait....when that wait could save your eye sight I feel certain you will feel like it was worth every second!
Dr Blue and his staff are amazing. Very rarely do you find a Doctor that will take whatever time is needed to address your concerns without making you feel rushed. I highly recommend Dr Blue.

I was misled about the amount of recovery time I would need after Lasik was performed at Dr. Blue's office. I was told I could go back to work the next day, but was unable to withstand light for about 24 hours after the procedure. The surgery itself went smoothly and wasn't even slightly uncomfortable! Immediately after was very painful. Blue laser group also needs to be better with scheduling practices. I have waited for 45 minutes to an hour at each of my three appointments. But hey I'm not blind, so I'm not that upset about having to be a patient patient!
