Beautiful home and gardens. Friendly accommodating hosts. Breakfast display could have been pictured for a 5 star restaurant and it tasted great, aa well!
This gorgeous Victorian mansion was an absolute delight. I stayed at a few so-called deluxe plantation houses during my trip around the south, and all were a disappointment apart from this gem. The pictures at their website do not do it justice. It is truly a stunning house, crammed with exquisite furnishings and is set in amazing grounds which are a pleasure to stroll around. The hosts are lovely men and nothing was too much trouble. I would genuinely have been happy to pay double the price for the wonderful experience of staying at ashford manor and hope to go back one day.
